Our son attended All About U daycare, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience there.  This was our first daycare experience, and as any parent knows, choosing the right daycare can be a very daunting task. The moment we walked into Karen’s house, we knew right away that it was the right place for our son. She was very supportive and helped ease our son, as well as my husband and I into our new routine.
Karen is a very loving and warm individual, who cares for the children like they are her own.  Her program is well rounded and is aimed to meet each age group in her care. Our son grew significantly while in her care through his speech and communication, as well in other areas, such as socially. Karen always made sure that each child felt comfortable in their surroundings, and always made the day lots of fun (so much fun, in fact, it was hard to get him to come home with us most days!). The children spent a lot of time outside playing, which made us happy, and on the days that the weather didn’t cooperate, Karen had lots of fun activities inside, such as indoor picnics.
Karen provides nutritious snacks and meals, which was wonderful because with our busy lifestyle, we were always reassured by the fact that he always ate well with her.
We highly recommend Karen’s home daycare for anyone who is looking for a wholesome, happy, loving environment for their child. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience, and we are so happy that we found her!

Our son has been attending All About U daycare for over a year now, and we could not be happier. Karen has a very loving and caring personality, and she shows the kids lots of love and warmth which the kids always reciprocate. We always get updates about our son’s progress and behavior (both good and bad) and Karen always gives us great advice. Karen provides a safe, clean, child-friendly environment in an area of her home dedicated to the daycare - it almost feels like a little school. We love all of the fun and educational activities he gets to do there (and so does he!), as well as the nutritious meals he gets and the neat crafts he brings home. Karen also does lots of extra things like CDs of pictures and birthday parties (among many others). Her sons are also great with the kids – Our son really looks up to both Riley and Josh. We recently moved across town, farther away from Karen's house, but we never even considered sending our son to any other daycare. From the first moment we met Karen, we knew that he would be well taken care of and always safe - we were not wrong.

Choosing Karen as our daycare provider was the best decision we ever made! We recommend Karen very highly.

This letter is reference to “All About U Home Daycare” and Karen Sowman. Our 41/2 year old son has been attending daycare full-time at Karen’s since he was 18 months old.

My son recently started school with great enthusiasm. We see how Karen’s learning system has enabled him to commence school with confidence and with great ability. The children are involved in varying developmentally appropriate activities throughout the day and not just left to play or watch TV as can happen in many home daycares. Friends and family have always been amazed at how soon our son learned the skills of shapes, colours, the alphabet and counting! We attribute this to Karen and the time she takes with the children.

My son has been introduced to a preschool environment with the loving guidance that he needed. I can also see how limiting the age of the children to under five allows for more focused attention on these important formative years.

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Karen. My son has been surrounded with love, excellent developmental guidance, and security. It gives us great peace of mind since we cannot be home with him ourselves.

We wholeheartedly recommend Karen to anyone and everyone! We have entrusted her with our most precious thing …. our son!

My daughter has been with Karen since 2006 (when she was one). Karen is a very positive, warm, sensitive and dedicated caregiver. She cares about all of the kids like her own. She takes them outside to play a lot. She has a large play area with a large variety of toys and games. She always has activities preplanned, my daughter is always learning. She comes home with interesting songs and artwork. She is learning so much, and everyone will tell you how well she talks for her age. I am extremely pleased with Karen and am so glad we found her.

It is our pleasure to write this reference. Karen has been the primary caregiver for our 3 year old son since September 2006. Karen has always provided a healthy, educational and loving atmosphere for my son and the other children in her care. Our son always looks forward to his time at Karen’s. She offers a well balanced day of fun learning including music, arts, outdoors and active playtime. The atmosphere within the daycare is a very warm and happy one.

Our daycare provider Karen Sowman is a diligent and caring lady. She has taken care of my son for over three years now. I have never seen a daycare run in such a professional manner than All about U daycare, from being organized and very clean at all times. The daycare is always a very secure and safe place for your children; I’ve never had an issue leaving my son. I knew he was always in good hands.
Karen is not your usual daycare provider. My child does not sit endlessly in front of a television for the 8 hours he’s in Karen’s care. Karen goes the extra mile to entertain our children with activities such as, arts and crafts, playing pretend, playing with several educational games, dress up and outdoor activities just to name a few. I could go on and on. My son is never board when he goes there.
Karen has worked with us to help potty train my son, bring my son out of his shell to make him more social, to help prepare my son for kindergarten, she has even helped with his speech therapy work. Just to name a few of the amazing task she has helped us over come. Karen has an open line of communication with us.
In addition Karen shows how much she cares for each one of our children evenly and fairly. She always divides her time up fairly for each task and child. Personally I don’t know how she does it!
We have found that Karen Sowman is very flexible, unselfish, and diligent in the care of our child. She is a true blessing and I can confidently recommend her to you as an amazing Daycare provider.

My son has been attending ‘All about U’ home daycare for 3 months now and I (nor he) have any complaints.  He is excited when he arrives each day and cries and runs when it is time to leave.  Karen is a caring, positive, professional and dedicated childcare provider.    I am very happy that I have found Karen and her home daycare for my son.  I do not feel  guilty leaving him while I am at work.;  I know he is being loved, well cared for, educated, and played with as though he was her own.   All our family lives out of town and Karen has already become like family to my son. 
Karen offers a variety of fun and educational choices in her daycare (crafts, playdough, circle time, dress up, music, outdoor play) .  I can’t believe how much he has learned in the 3 months that he has been there.  He comes home with new skills and/or words every day. 
I am very happy with Karen and ‘All about U’ and I highly recommend her to anyone who wants the best for their child.
